

Captain Wayne A. Maddox was born
and raised in Panama City, Florida. he attended school
locally and earned his criminal justice certification from Gulf
Coast Community College in 1993. He then joined the Panama
City Beach Police Department's Auxiliary / Reserve program that
same year and started his mission to become a full time officer.
In January of 1996 he was accepted as a full time officer and
assigned to the Uniform Patrol Division. While in the
Patrol Division, Captain Maddox served as a Field Training
Officer, Traffic Homicide Investigator and as the Field Training
Coordinator. He worked his way through the ranks of
Uniformed Patrol achieving the position of the Patrol Division
Commander on January 9, 2012 and later being promoted to the
rank of Captain on February 2, 2012. |
